will you be there this year?

A krewe "is an organization that puts on a parade and or a ball for the Carnival season." The Krewe of the Fives? We're the float that doesn't move. The only ongoing, family-friendly, breakfast beer bash of Springtime Tallahassee. 5th Annual this year. A few more babies, a few more friends, a few more beads to catch. This year I can't afford to set us all up with a keg, but I'll throw hot dogs on the grill after the parade wraps up while everyone wanders in and out and downtown and back again and people nap on the couch.

If you and yours are downtown this Saturday, come on by and say howdy. You can't miss us.

you're perfectly situated for the spectacle and it sounds like fun (your version anyway).
Have fun, throw a damp hotdog at a convertible for me.

Come on and do it yourself. It's a mixed bag of folks in all ways, from grammas on down. If you enjoy a parade, it's the best place to be.

Bring her to the parade! There's a grassy side that the kids spread out on.

Seriously, Magnum. Y'all should come. Not everyone drinks beer at nine in the morning. Really.

It's true. The beer drinking is purely voluntary. For everyone else, there's tequila.

(I kid, I kid.)

Once invited in, never gone; once gone, never back. The trick is getting rid of me once I'm there and few have mastered such magic.

I may be by however, I just found out (read: remembered) BabyMama and BabyGirl are headed to Colorado for a week.
Oh, wait, no, I may be FISHING, boy howdy!! We'll see. Thanks for the invite. If I come, I'll need a place to wedge a very large truck that smells like a deep fryer.

Parking is the one thing I leave entirely up to my guests. Somewhere behind my house on the street is all I can suggest. That's part of my enjoyment of the day - I'm already parked and at home!

Get down to my place by 8:30 or 9 and you should be able to park within easy walking distance.

I think ALL the Tallahassee bloggie folks should come. Wear a dogwood branch in your hat so we can all recognize each other.
(Great idea, huh, DTG?)
